1. Professional Development - the professional Development conference 10/24 - Report of activity and other items the group has been working on Title II research and Beyond the Islands of Excellence.(PKay)
2. Student Achievement - Plan for 11/14 math audit presentation in Salina
3. Public engagement – Tom’s new papers – how to use with people in our state. How can we spread positive information about schools? Will also talk about corporation papers.

1:15-1:45 – Report outs from work groups

1:45-2:25 – KLFA goals and priorities for remainder of year

2:25-2:30 - Closure

2003-04 Goals
· KLFA will plan and facilitate Professional Development opportunities that support student learning. - Good to Great, math session, and Effective Schools Conference session (Sue Kidd will write the proposal)
· KLFA will strengthen its organizational capacity.
· KLFA will increase its visibility and influence on statewide policy and program issues.
· Each workgroup will develop its own set of goals that support KLFA.
