10:15     Constitution and Bylaws

The C&B subcommittee of the Public Engagement Workgroup will discuss proposed bylaws and invite general discussion and further questions by the whole group. 

11:00     Patty Mitchell

Patty Mitchell from LFA in Washington, DC, will be attending our meeting.  She will tell us what other State Alliances are doing, offer some advice to us, and tell us about Safe and Supportive Schools, the latest document from LFA.   

12:00     Networking and Lunch at the site  (Be prepared to pay from $6 for lunch.)

Christy will bring cupcakes to help us celebrate our 3^rd birthday!

Review progress on formulating ideas for the Math Review, consider how to take the Reading target farther, discuss development of a KLFA website

Professional Development: Sandee Crowther & Lisa Brookover, Team Leaders

Consider information from the PD Summit, continue planning for the Summer Legislator Seminar

Public Engagement:  Tom Krebs & Don Knowles, Team Leaders

Consider how to take the structured conversations farther, discuss refinements to the bylaws based on morning discussions.
